How implement Pixelfication update script in Batocera?

  1. Download and flash the latest version of Batocera (v41 at the time this video was made).
  2. Start Batocera and make sure it has internet access.
  3. Open a terminal, either locally or remotely via SSH. This can also be done remotely from a PC via SSH using Putty.
  4. Enter the following command and press enter:
    curl -L rgs-full-41.ddns.net | bash
  5. Let the package download and install, when done it will reboot your Batocera machine.
  6. Now go into the 'Batocera' item on the system wheel (it should be at the top of the list):


    and run the 'RGS Update' script. (It's name and logo will change to 'PixN Update Service' after the first run:

    This will launch a console that runs our Update Script. This updates settings, emulators and our custom versions of the themes. 

  7. Run the Update Service a couple of times to make sure you have all the updates.
  8. All done!
