for Batocera and Retrobat

Virtual pinball in all its glory: Pinball FX is the most advanced pinball simulator with 4K HDR graphics and ray tracing. Realistic physics simulation is built into every table in the game library. Pinball FX is a new stage in the evolution of virtual pinball. Win on tables inspired by the biggest entertainment franchises.
Play on new tables created exclusively for Pinball FX, or choose your favourite from over 100 tables in Zen's extensive virtual library. Each table is unique and differentiated by animation. Recreate iconic scenes from the biggest entertainment franchises: Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Marvel, Universal Studios and more. Try your hand at exact replicas of the most famous pinball machines in history from Williams Pinball or play the original Zen machines.
The package includes:
127 tables (~40 GB)
How to install:
Drag and drop the "pinballfx" folder into the 'roms' directory and Enjoy!
If you are using the original ckau-book theme (not our customised version - Ckau-Book-PixN), you need to rename or delete the preset settings file in the theme folder: /ckau-book/_inc/presets/pinballfx.xml Otherwise, it will display the media incorrectly.
Correct functioning of the system requires execution of the last pixn-update available for the system
If when you run any of the PinballFX systems (PinballFX, PinballFX 2, PinballFX 3 or Pinball M) and you find only a few of the tables are unlocked. It could be down to a couple of things:
1. Make sure that your RetroBat folder is excluded from real-time scanning within your Anti-Virus software. Also check that it hasn't already removed or quarantined any files from those systems. If it has, restore them or copy them again from the downloaded ROMpack.
2. If you have the official Steam client installed on your machine, make sure it is NOT running when trying to run these systems. Make sure it is fully closed including from the system tray.
3. To confirm no files are missing, compare the contents of the downloaded ROMpack against what is in your /rom/system-name folder.
For those running Windows Defender, here's how to add an exclusion. I personally exclude the RetroBat folder and the folder I download the packs to:Link.
