PlayStation Minis, also known simply as minis, is a line of small, casual games available to download from the PlayStation Store.
The series was launched on October 1, 2009 for the PlayStation Portable, specifically for the launch of the digital-only model PSP go.
Compatibility with the PlayStation 3 was added on December 17, 2009 with firmware update 3.15 and the PlayStation Vita at the handheld's launch.

By July 14, 2010, over 1 million minis had been downloaded worldwide.
