TyrQuake (tyrquake)
for Batocera and Retrobat
TyrQuake's goal is to port and maintain the Quake game on modern systems. It allows map designers to create larger and/or more detailed maps than the original game allowed while maintaining the original character of the game.
Quake is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by GT Interactive in 1996. In the game, players must find their way through various medieval maze-like environments, fighting various monsters with different weapons. The overall atmosphere is dark and gritty, with lots of stone textures and rusty, large fonts.
Quake, the successor to id Software's Doom series, was based on the technology and gameplay of its predecessor.
The package includes:

NOTE:
This system is already included in our base builds for either RetroBat, Batocera or both.
It is being made available to support future "Barebones" editions of the builds that come without any ROMs.
If you already use one of the following, then you DO NOT need to download this.

-Batocera v40 Base Edition 500 GB [RGS]
If "Barebones" editions of our builds are now available, please download as needed.
How to install:
Drag and drop the "tyrquake" folder into the 'roms' directory and Enjoy!
